This past May, I began working as a copyeditor for constellations. Over the course of these past six months—during which we completed and launched our seventh issue, our first special issue which focuses on transnational cultural rhetorics—I have gained invaluable insight, not only into the world of academic writing and editing, but also into the world of cultural rhetorics and its importance during this tumultuous period of American history.
